In an age where kids cannot play outside in the kindergarten, where teens literally die of boredom when they resort to that expression and adults strive to believe in a better tomorrow... In an age where metal seems pretty sullen and defunct, in Azure Town USA, Takase is the silver lining in these dark clouds. Today they don't dress white; they're geared in full black for our Symphonic lord is on the loose... Although I think that's a bit nonsensicle because a good omen is always white clouds and a clear sky in utopical sceneries, it's more like the exact opposite here...

What the heck am I talking about, is a mystery left for the magicians.

Gonna pay a visit to sunflowerfare parkfare wondertown first.
As you probably figured out already, the following is a little chain majigger of uploads pertaining to Takase's new release which barely just in.

I don't know where to start and since this is already a deep mess, maybe let's just say: Remember when Takase's releases were incredibly addicting? Yeah, neither do I.

I'm gonna be brutally honest, Takase's both display and, ultimately, genre never called out to me in a particular way. Maybe it's because of those synths. I always thought they got in his way.
Fortunately and over the time, he learned to master them. C77 was a good release, but it had much too shovelware for me to enjoy it. I could pick 6 I truly found ' a thing ' out of those bazillions of tracks.

Takase, this time around though, I'm officially sanctioning you to enter my favorite metalnuts list. This album is a sheer anthem to symphonic metal. It IS moving. It's magical and elegant. And it's heavy as hell. It's got all the good ingredients, even an amazing original track list.
Ffff-, I'm kinda lost. I'm typing it all as I listen over and over again to this wonderful album. It's downright addicting, from the start to the ending. Maybe, okay, let's not get head over heels, Ichirin's stage theme could be a little more... grandeouse? Perhaps? Perhaps since you got me used to such epic renditions all throughout the album, that specific one is a bit tasteless. Just throwing it out there.

Needlessly said, I'm nearly flipping out with this particular track, this one here. More than a wicked and twisted portrayal of a most imposing character, it is an elegant rendition of an epic theme.
It's just so freakin' good!
