The series has been known for its high-speed racing, unique characters and settings, difficult gameplay, original music, and pushing the limits of its technology to be one of the fastest racing games ever. The franchise has been recognized for having the first racing game to be developed this realistically which also offered an original scenario and style of gameplay. In fact, one of Nintendo's most popular characters, Captain Falcon (キャプテン・ファルコン), an accomplished F-Zero pilot and renowned bounty hunter, is F-ZERO's most well-known character, with his symbolic "Falcon Punch (Panch)!". Mute City is probably F-ZERO's most popular track, having had quite a hefty amount of rock arranges here and there (the most popular one probably being the SSBB arrangement). I'll have to say though that this is one of the better ones I've heard, aside form the fact that the solo gave me a thousand orgasms, the keyboards really give it a nice touch. The album is mostly focused on giving that kind of "speed" you'd feel while playing F-ZERO, blending some techno with nice keyboards and Toshinori's shredding and a pretty good drummer (yes, yes, the drum solo at the ending is pretty badass y'know), making a pretty good collection of arranges overall.
