Description | Title: 今昔幻想郷 ~ Flower Land Artist: 青汁 (Our beloved Aojiru) Circle: TAMUSIC Album: ピアノのための東方夜想曲集「Shangri-La」 Original: 今昔幻想郷 ~ Flower Land (Gensokyo, Past and Present ~ Flower Land) Double update, check out the other video, it's a Necrofantasia arrange, some kind of Yuka/ri combo, kind of thing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7pAtFjor1zo I was actually looking around for arranges of her PC-98 themes, but as always, PC-98 arranges are extremely hard to find, I actually found one, by Melodic of Harp, but, everyone knows how terribly boring their stuff happen to be (although they do have some nicer stuff, but even those at times lack a good background beat), and not to mention their earlier stuff are WAY to synth for me. Although they do have a nice piano-only PoFV arrange album, with some very well done piano duos. Anyways, Yuka is somebody I'd categorize as "Chaotic Evil" straight from the start, she's like a trap, from the outside she seems like a nice flower loving girl, get too close to her and the next thing that'll happen is that you'll find her umbrella embedded in your skull. You'd think: "Flower manipulation? Pfft, what a lame skill." Think again: "Completely unrelated to her abilities, she uses a parasol or scatters flowers to perform graceful attacks. It is said that her parasol is a special sun parasol that can largely cut ultraviolet rays and can block rain as well. It can even block danmaku. Rather than relying on youkai abilities or magic, she often performs overwhelming physical attacks." -Hieda no Akyu (ZUN), from Perfect Memento in Strict Sense, translated by TOHO wiki On to the song, sincerely the latest Piano Nocturnes wasn't all that impressive, the tracks that where picked weren't all that nice either. Well that's why we have Aojiru, who always comes to out aid in our times of need. Like some kind of Super-man. As always, his skills, be it violin, orchestra, anything, do not falter, he delivers, as always, packed with awesomeness, easily the best track in the whole album. I mean, just listen to that effing piano work, it's INSANE!! Like Yuka. Anyways, I'm kinda beat, had to reupload the last video twice, and rewrite the whole text-wall again, so spare me. Goodo Nighto Thanks for watching, don't forget to leave a comment. http://thepoltergeistmansion.wordpress.com/ |
