Description | [Title] - StringSensation [Author/Circle] - TAM, Aruna Ryuki / TAMUSIC [Album] - 東方弦奏響8 "Touhou Gensoukyoku 8" [Event] - Comiket 77 [Original] - Voyage 1969 [Game] - Touhou 08: Imperishable Night ~ Stage 6 Theme Voyage 1969 is either a song you love or hate. It's a very exquisite composition on its own, and logically, this trait carries over to most arranges. This is because the actual original is very... monochordic, there's not a whole lot of depth to it, nor the margin to work on is very wide itself. To top if off, it's a rather repetitive tune, so it's easy to grow tired of. As such, everytime some author manages to pull off some nice arrange, I grin with joy. Let it be known that, alas, this is not the best track in TAM's newest stuff, but it's probably the best Voyage arrange this Comiket. What I really dig is when TAM joins powerlevels with fowks from the electronic scene and churns out stuff like this. I tip my hat off to TAM. I don't even 'love' classical, per say, not yet, at least. Sue me. You could say I'm still developing my taste for it, and I'm willing to give it a shot or two for that matter (cheers to KakashiMr!). A TAM is always fine, though, so I'll eventually enjoy this one or the other. Either ways, I needed to up some Voyage 1969 here eventually. Kaguya's one of my favorite characters, I think I've gone on and out regarding that enough times by now. I'll probably upload some more TAM shortly after this, sometime when I feel like, since TAM is undoubtely a staple within the Touhou doujin scene and I'll probably end up stumbling in more of his material. |
