No exceptions. I'm trying to pull quite the stunt here lemme tell you. I'm terribly fed up to the bone with our time-screwing maid. No no, I'm not talking of the woman herself, don't chop me down to bits here, just an inkling of a thought, okay? After U.N. Owen, these have got to be the most arranged themes ever. There's no little secret between me and Pocket Watch of Blood, or neither between Flowering Night for that matter. None. I'm walking down the street and I stumble on the god damn Sakuya themes, it's quite the ordeals, let it be known. Moreover, I just think her design is a little milked down by the minute, no? I mean, maid characters are pretty recurrent... So are time-breaking shenanigans... So really, it's not the one Touhou I hold great passion against. And still, this is how it works, y'know? This is what they roll on youtube these days, these songs that you loathe so much you end up having the rainbow fruitful thrill of life. It's pretty... daunting, actually. My top listened tracks are all Sakuya theme arranges. Somehow, the original never appeased to me in a sultry way so to speak. It's somewhat funny to notice that most arranges cover for the little big short-comings that the originals flush out, like lacking power. But then again, someone's gonna be all canon-ish and tell me nowhere it is officially royally issued out in a blunt and empirical way that Sakuya's themes are supposed to be powerful, and she might actually be a very graceful character that rightfully warrants a rather monchordic theme, and that is perfectly fine with me, but actually isn't. I think Sakuya's themes should be as powerful as the flying ever, and they should portray what is one of the most menacing and cryptical abilites in the Touhou world, TOKI WO TOMARE OLOL. To put it shortly, I've got mixed feelings about this one and Sakuya to water it down. I'm not gonna lie, she's one of the most charismatic characters in the series, as is the whole SDM cast in a whole, and I can see from where much of the fascination comes from, but I sometimes wish characters like Sakuya wouldn't just overshadow by herselves like the other hundred half of the Touhou world. Wow, that was pretty worthless. I'm just a little butthurt here, is all :V Either ways... This is a pretty staple-esque way to show you my stance on Sakuya. Crunchy and rispy vibes all day long like it was no thing, the sound beyond the boundary of time, the bloody riffs of the time-twisting maid.
