Description | WINGED WALL OF TEXT FLYING AT YOU! Title: Wings of Destiny Artist: Bach Circle: THOUSAND LEAVES Album: END OF ENDLESS NIGHT Original: 風神少女(God Wind Girl) Website: http://pocky.real-sound.net/Thousand_Leaves/index.html Don't ask me what was the misunderstanding between Aya and Suika that made them get into this epic battle, but I guess that every girl in Gensyoko has a misunderstanding with the closest person around, or danmaku is the common gesture of saying "Good evening!". Bach (not nicknamed by that for any reason), returns once again under the THOUDAND LEAVES circles. This time "END OF ENDLESS NIGHT" is an album made all by himself, featuring once again the voice of "doomage" Abecky. While this channel is focused on MOSTLY instrumental music, there isn't much to say about the voice, but there is sure a lot to say about Bach. I don't quite know for sure, but I believe this is the first album totally made by Bach this time, and it's full of neo classical shred you could ever ask for. Recently, there has been some criticizing about IRON ATTACK!, making all sound the same. I don't know if it's because of the rush, but without doubt IRON ATTACK! seems now like a mass producer of Touhou Neo Classical where sometimes it rips too much other artist (oh the banning...). Sure, there are jewels like #161, but most of the songs feel really under the same pattern. I think Bach is on the path that IRON ATTACK! reincarnated with the excellent (and without doubt, the best album) "THUNDER CONCERTO". With bits of Neo Classical shred here and there, gorgeous influences from classical music, but still not leaving the original tune aside, making one hell of arrangements. This album is a full metal jacket in neo classical, and comes with excellent tracks that sure will be featured in the future of the channel. I have read many comments that some people isn't very fond to "Wind God Girl". I stated before, and I say it again. I feel it's somewhat repetitive and by some reason I just don't like the original melody. Don't ask me why, I just can't stand it, but its one of the favorite for arranges to...arrange. Taka from CROW'SCLAW has already 3 arranges in different styles, perhaps he feels fond to it because Aya and Taka are of the same species anyway. I also never liked Aya. Perhaps because I'm not that connected with Japanese mythology, and I'm totally unaware of what a Tengu is. I kinda like the idea she is a crow. I love crows, not for nothing Utsuho is my favorite character, but still the fact that Aya is just a reporter (and occasionally saving GEnsyoko from perish) just does not hook me up. Luckily, there are fan interpretations, like this image, and this arrange, that make me imagine Aya in a totally different manner, even if it's part of somebody else point of view. Thanks for watching. |
