[Game] - Touhou 12: Undefined Fantastic Object ~ Nue Houjuu's Theme

Y'know, it's funny that I said the C77 is dying off, because I'm both a liar and I will die by my own sword, since I won't stay off C77 for a while, and apparently, I'll be enjoying that. I don't know about you.

Oddly enough, that is no safe ground nor is it reason for why I've brought this one up, because Tribullets' stuff has been out for some days by now. But I don't just listen to what I upload, y'know? Even though they're probably and arguably among my favorites, they're not all the shit I dig, neither would that be a healthy course, for me, and this channel.
As such, I find myself several times trying to overcome the endeavor of actually choosing what to upload rather than go and babble on itself, and that is something to say. Geez, why can't I just be into one style and tack on just about whichever other shit comes by instead of, y'know, totally drooling over gabber and jazz equally?

Oh my lord, where are the Nue uploads across these shores, where hath thou goneth, Nueth of the overused theme?
I'll be brutally honest, I was severely disappointed by the remixes this C77 regarding Heian Alien. I ain't gonna bitch about REDALiCE. I actually liked their album, but I don't think their arrange was anything worthy to be called an arrange. I think that's why people lost their tremenduous hard-ons for the alice in red this Comiket. Okay okay, the 'excess of vocals' argument, I geddit, there's also that one. But those are just silly. I don't think that's the matter with it.

sun3 gave off an interesting twist on this one. I think it's rather noticeable, and if you're really into Nue's theme, you'll know what I'm saying. I don't think I can put it to words, but if I were to, I'd say he strayed off Nue's optimal tempo and added another beat. In a song where the notes are always jumping around, he grabbed the mid-beat and made it a little longer, which is a very smart way to re-use an otherwise repetitive tune and add little variety here and there.
Another high point to this one is the subtle, yet powerful bassline. What is probably 155 bpm blends in the melodic manner of Heian Alien. I suppose that's a luxury you can afford when your tune's insanely fond on melodic quirks.

Unlike many fowks make it seem, Gabber is not the black sheep of the Touhou scene, 'mkay? There's a lot to tack on, but there's little pearls lying here and there worthy of listening. Granted, the hardcore techno scene is not very well represented, most authors put obnoxious electronic vocal sounds over their songs, and not even I who will take up to anything will bear with that. Yes, I'm looking at you, the other dreaded side of Tribullets that is not sun3 among a certain few others.
Oh well, hopefully this one will give off a little interest to many of you to search for more.
