Alright! Youmu waits until the time is, granted, ideally ripe, to make her great resurgence. Whom better than Taka himself to draw out all the warrior-woman antics, right?

Truly, Twin Crescent needs no introduction. Whichever your tastes are, you probably know it. Really now? "Doesn't shake two little flaks"? Unarguably, you will recognize it from Crossfire Barrage, un/arguably, the frickin' one damned sexiest metal album in the Touhou scene. Either that, or Frozen Frog, whichever, really. The genius riffs, crunchy vibes, insane shredding, all pertain to the same chap. Taka himself. And more need I say not.
Let it be known though, this is not an old update... Or rather rightfully so. This is because Original Intention, the one so called 'best of' album off the presses, it wasn't a best of album at all, fowks. I don't think that's what Taka was shooting for. The pack is called "Original Intention", therefore, it makes sense that, somehow, this one was out make for redeeming for Taka himself, those tracks that he didn't plan out exactly as so, and held a friendly grudge until today.
Truthfully, Original Intention makes me wonder why the hell did Taka think twice. Most of these tracks completely rape the previous ones... Like even if, arranges of an arrange. Okay okay, maybe that's overdoing it. But it still feels like fresher material straight out of the ovens, that's how immortal Taka's stuff is. I can still hold grip to this shit for fuckloads and bounce my head about, bloody damn.

Now now, pertinent little question here for my lovely crowd: Which one do you prefer, Twin Crescent, or Twin Crescent (Original Intention)?

I'm gonna have to slam it down Original Intention style. The original gets a little monochordic after a few hundred listens, and a little too shallow afterwards. Twin Crescent Original, however, is still plugging in my ears after hours and it's there to stay. I'll give it that the 'first' one is sharply more melodic. However, you've got to dig that lower tuning, geez. Feels good, man.

Little curios quirk in the middle picture there.

You have to wonder just how far is Youmu willing to go for her mistress. Whichever has her master done to provoke that seemingly dreaded scenario in which Youmu found herself in? Truly admirable. I still hold this in high and lovely regard as one of the deepest Touhou relationships, even if I've outgrown Yuyuko completely by now. Youmu is totally my asylum for some Hakugyokurou loving at the moment!
