| Description | Touhou 13's out, and I'm bloody excited. I had a little play of it, and it is so much better than I was expecting (if you don't like the themes, listen to them in-game, they sound so much more awesome). Anyway, this arrange of the Last Judgement, Mystic Square's Stage 5 theme, which has been recently uploaded by Jesselejohn, struck a chord in my heart, so I thought I'd use it. I made this tribute to commemorate the wonderful years I've had playing Touhou (I know 2 isn't much, but I've got many more to come), and to look back at what ZUN has achieved prior to Ten Desires. He's managed, on his own, to create a completely alternate universe, filling it with myth and legend, beautiful music, and crowning many a queen in this paradisaical land, not to mention giving us all a spectacular gaming experience. Every one of these girls has a story, a trail we can follow to guide us into understanding who they are, what they are like, who their relationships are, what they have been through, which gives them each their own identity, along with their themes. (Crud, I've said all that, and haven't included any PC-98 characters :/ ) Okay, enough expressing my feelings, I also wanted to try some more effects and see what simplicity feels like. The end is supposed to have a sad feeling, but I messed up the simulation on the last image, so you can't really make out what it is. And the timing where the music breaks, that fails too ._. Vegas Movie Studio slows down the preview, so my timing sucks... FYI, if you couldn't work out what the text was for at the end, it was the translation of the Japanese on the comic. |
