I've said it back there and I'm taken to underline it nearly a month after: Barrage is one of the most valued productions to ever come out in one of these events.
The premise is sorta overwhelming if you look at it; the participating circles are amongst the topmost tier in the Touhou scene, if not all of them, chalk in/off a few. Had they invited IRON over and it'd have been metalfare countryfare crunchy time. Although noting, while Thousand Leaves often associates with IRON and Kissing the Mirror drinks up a lot of inspiration from IRON most of time (both of which are circles playing in Barrage), IRON's wavelength is more of neo-classical to power, and not exactly this sort of thrash/death metal they brought upon. This could have been the reason. Another reason could have been IRON's already pretty comfortable hegemony on the top spot here, he's got enough of a step stool already and doesn't need much promotion other circles here could use.

However, IRON is not the meat and potato of this update. He will certainly be once I get my hands on that bloody Vampire Concerto, freakin' lord. You wouldn't imagine how much preparation has be done for it. I'm kinda wore out of doing the wait game already, geez.

PXP fetches a track in Barrage and thus is what we're having today.
I think it may very well be the best track in the whole release. Even though I'm not a huge nut about vocals, I do enjoy my screams here and there. And even so, this album feels as though all the screaming was kind of forced through. Some tracks would definitely have been more delicious without these very amateur vocals plastered all over them.
This is why I ended up turning to this song. It's a masterful display of talent in all branches.

I must say, I absolutely, thoroughly bounce about with those fucking drums, to use the proper parlance. It's so good I could cuddle myself into a comma. I just can't get enough of them, they don't sound plastic in the slightest, they sound as lively as the next one. These are the drums of the deities.
To dip this wonderful drum line, we're gifted with a powerful shredding session all over the track. This is a mighty fine staple of power/thrash metal guitars; just brutal, smashing shredding all over the place, no blank spots.
Lastly, I can't believe the amount of synergy behind this arrange and lady Patchy here. It all seems to blend just right. It's quite incredible. It seems as though you're lost in the endless recesses of Voile and lose your way unto the locked girl. Unfortunately, you've got a stolen book in your hand and are trying to sneak out with it. You are not called Marisa Kirisame, either. This surely cannot end well.
Not too sure about this one myself but honestly, I think it's very climatic myself, if a bit hilarious.
