DescriptionTitle: Lunatic Dial(Remix)
Artist: Pepe, Kalche
Circle: Driven Kitchen
Album: 東方切裂魔
Original: 月時計~ ルナ・ダイアル (Lunar Clock ~ Luna Dial)

Just to proof that I do care for new songs, allow me to present a new song.
Well, not new as in just recorded. It has actually some time floating around, but without a doubt is a new song for the channel. Remeber that from now on, only new songs will be uploaded, since the reconstruction process is over.

To be honest I wasn't fair with the past Pepe and Kalche song I uploaded back when I was replacing some videos of the 0 to 200 videos. The past song I featured from this 2 artist (#189) wasn't preciesly a Heavy Metal entry, and was more on the bit of the genre of hard rock (and I still don't know if thats a good clasification).

As told you before, Driven Kitchen came to me as a suprise, since the first 2 albums aren't exactly quite good. I don't blame the quality of the compositions, but its more the quality of the EQ. Some can listen to it, some can not, but if there is something I can't stand on heavy metal is a bad EQ. However the last album (this song belongs to it) has been a HUGE improvement in every thing, and this piece convinced me that Driven Kitchen is one circle its worth to follow.

This song balances well what it is the original melody and some self work that this both 2 artist have made. The riff that defines all the song its the intro of "Lunar Clock - Lunar Dial", however it is the only part I could recognize from the original song. Now, "Lunar Clock" isn't exactly a song where you can identify some classy "easy humming" melody. "Lunar Clock" is actually a very complex song with a lot of instruments playing one complex melody. So selecting what part should go into an arrange (and please remeber that an arrange is different than a cover) can be a pretty difficult job.

None of the less, I approve the selection Pepe and Kalche made. Their original composition sounds incredible when it blents with the riff, and this is the heaviest track Driven Kitchen has done. The results are pretty good, and that without a doubt deserves the attention of your ear.

Before I go just one question. What on the hell does "Driven Kitchen" mean? Can't firgure it out yet.

Thanks for watching.
