Artist: ゆい (Yuy)
Circle: t=NODE
Album: Channel†NodeⅡ
Originals: 千年幻想郷 ~ History of the Moon (Gensokyo Millennium ~ History of the Moon) & 少女綺想曲 ~ Dream Battle (Maiden's Capriccio ~ Dream Battle)

Firstly I'd like to thank everyone, for today I reached 1000 subscribers! Heck yes! Thank you all for your help and support, they have been priceless and invaluable.

Let's cut to the chase, since we are in the presence of t=NODE.

Since the first song I put up from this album (Merlin's 118) the guy has been loved. This guy, Yuy from t=NODE, might be one of the most original arrangers in the Touhou "classical" music business. As somebody commented: "this t=NODE guy can compare to TAM really". I agree 100%, the guy arranges songs in such a complex way utilizing such a wide array of sounds it's amazing. Aside from the fact that his keyboard work is absolutely breath taking he manages to progress songs in the perfect way possible. And to top it all off this album caught me completely by surprise that when the whole thing finished I had already consumed a whole box of tissues. For my tears, what exactly are you thinking?

Aside from the fact that the guy chooses the strangest most possible combination of songs, ever, he even manages to make them flow into each other as if it where a piece of cake.

This song, is insane, it's as insane as Merlin's 118, actually most of the album is "effing" insane. I love the harpsichord as an instrument, I love the sound it makes, the everything. Unfortunately it's not very used these days, but keyboards do the job well enough. This song is godsend in that aspect it has such a baroque feeling to it, especially starting from 2:13. And don't let me get started with 5:13. Is that Scarlatti you ask? No, my friend, it's t=NODE. But the Scarlatti dedication is pretty evident, and this Japanese guy got pretty damn close.

Reimu's theme does the job perfectly, actually, on video 121 I got a comment asking for an arrange of Maiden's Capriccio that nails the "fast piano" part perfectly, my friend, this is how it should sound at "max fucking speed". For those who have not noticed Maiden's Capriccio contains an insane background piano (when I say insane, I mean insane, almost as fast as Voyage 1969, I'm not kidding), oh ZUN, you MIDI master.

Oh wait, before I close this video and let you listen to this insanity we call a song, here's Merlin's 15th volume, up on the poltergeist music list for you to download:
