Surprise, surprise!!

Look what we have here, an arrange of what is supposedly Akyu's theme, Child of Are.
Well, that's what I'm most probably certain it is, Akyu's theme. Other then my iPod telling me so, I must have got that information from somewhere if I wrote that, but strangely it's not on Touhou Wiki, I do believe it was in the past, in the Perfect Memento in Strict Sense music CD.
The other fact that convinced me is:

"She is the current "Child of Miare" (御阿礼の子), who is born in the Hieda family once in every few hundred years with the ability to "not forget anything she sees" and record Gensokyo's history. She seems to like red tea."
-From Toho Wiki

(Heck yes, red tea is great, I love it) Note the "Child of Miare", then note the name of the theme "Child of Are", I seriously don't believe that's a coincidence, aside from the fact that Akyu happens to be the protagonist of Perfect Memento in Strict Sense.
To top it all off the theme is composed "a la" PC-98, which is what ultimately convinces me 100%.

That aside, HOLY CRAP, at this arrange. I mean, I would never have guessed to bump into an arrange of this theme, and seriously not a folkish one, and not just a folkish one, a Hindi folk one, especially those "vocals" I don't really consider them vocals though. Yup, I quite like Hindi folk, I think it sounds very nice, sitars happen to be one of my favorite instruments, they just sound... effing awesome. No wonder I love Aerosmith's Taste of India so much, I dare somebody to arrange a Touhou theme like that, Hindi folk + Hard Rock + Rock Blues.
Some of you guys might think the vocals are a slight downside of the arrange, or perhaps ruin the whole song, trust me, the Hindi-like chanting is perfect for this arrange.

I'm seeing this theme in an all new light now. The director of the "Symphony 98" has shown herself.

"God, I love the sweet taste of India.
Lingers on the tip of my tongue!"

Enjoy this awesome arrange of this awesome theme, don't forget to leave a comment!
