DescriptionTitle: 懐古の知識と歴史
Artist: ゆっきー (yuki)
Circle: 狐の工作室 (Kitsune's Factory)
Album: 東方幻想界 -永夜抄の音-
Original: 懐かしき東方の血 ~ Old World (Nostalgic Blood of the East ~ Old World)

Unfortunately I wasnt a huge fan of the original song uploaded last time. For those who are curious it was another Old World arrange by a nifty little group of guys (who's albums I have never found unfortunately) and you can listen to it here:

http://mooper.web.fc2.com/download.html

The arrange is called "Dear Eastern Blood", actually, I recommend you just switch on Downthemall and take everything from that page if you like orchestral music, they are all very good (although they have some quality problems sometimes, imho).
Though, I thought it lacked some originality, it felt like it was just a normal generic orchestra cover of Old World, not that I hated it, but it lacked that extra "oomph!".

On the other hand, though, yuki doesnt ever fail to deliver originality packed with gorgeous orchestration. That's one of yuki's biggest merits, he manages to make all of his songs sound aunthentic, to the point where I'm pushed to believe his circle does all the instruments themselves. I have no idea though, hey, they are excellent though. Like this song for example, I simply love the blend with the harpsichord giving it a slightly baroque feel to it, but still standing out.

Not to mention that each time yuki announces a new album, I always expect to have my ears greatly pleased, and this time, like past times it was not a disappointment, I recommend the "new" album to anyone who hasnt gotten it yet (actually, who hasnt?).

Regardless, for those wondering, this song will be added in the music pack for videos 200-210 (when I get around to uploading it), I'll add a note on the site too telling people this, so there will be no confusions.

EDIT: Actually the site's downloads are down (some of them anyways) here's a video with it:
