Personally I think Mountain of Faith has some of the best tracks in all of TOHO, Mysterious Mountain is no exception. I think ZUN went something more on the "adventurer" side of Aya when he composed this, since it's much different from her "Wind God Girl" which has a very jazzy feel to it. I won't say I dislike Aya, but I won't say that I love her either, but I do like some of the artwork featuring her, they normally have a very calming look to them, with the combination of autumn leaves, sunsets and stuff like that. Well, on to the song, I think it's pretty nice, a good combination of folkish instruments and orchestra giving a pretty calming and slightly epic feel to it, also, notice the little bit with "Wind God Girl" mixed in it? And yes, the circle IS Azure&Sands, they don't do only jazz y'know? 鯛の小骨 or Tainokobone does a lot of orchestra/folkish stuff, good stuff.
