My my, I did say you wouldn't see many arranges of Nitori nowhere in my watch now, didn't I. I guess I'm sorta choking on my own words here.

I reveal myself dumbfounded when I scrounged around and only just recently came to realize who truly this Kawase guy is. Why whadda y'know, it seems like yet another guitar virtuoso to hop on the bandwagon.
Unfortunately, it seems as if the circumstances are against those of us who would like to fall blissful to his murderous shredding... He just seems to be churning out worse material by the minute. You will be given to know, GODS is probably Thousand Leaves best album and arguably the beacon of light in Kawase's Touhou display.
It's truly a shame that Bach seems to be outnumbering this guy in his recent works... Yes, I am glaring at you, Blind Night Sorrow, geez. Not even a single trail of Kawase, for crying out loud. You guys... You should cherish this pearl you got.

Whichever. I mean, we won't develop into this matter. Cussing upon Thousand Leaves is pretty degrading, they're good at what they do, and although they've routed clearly further into death metal territory, they know how to excel in what they do and that is commendable.

Kawase is a man a half and you know what else is coming.
Bluntly driven curious by Chaos's upload, I took it on myself to find comfort in all these Kawase tracks I still had not lent an ear to. I even found some traces of jazz eh, whadda y'know. I might be covering that later.
This is however one of Kawase's most annoying quirks to me. Good lord, just kindly cut the slack on the synths and all those bazillions of instrument layers and just murder that fretboard like it was no thing.

Step on a few shortcomings here and there and you're in for the thrillful ride of your neo-classical metal Touhou experience, Malmsteen and Marty Friedman style. THIS is the Gensokyo that Gods Love.

Thanks for listening!
