I won't comment on the song (unless you count imagery) simply because words can't describe it. Though I feel the need to say one thing about it and that is that I feel the need to cry. Personally, I say the album is perfect, though it's rather lacking in terms of Youmu and Letty. The whole album features tracks from PCB. This is the album that I recommend getting the most out of this Reitaisai (at least, if your into the classic genre). This won't be the last I upload from this album. Kitsune Workshop has got to be one of the best circles when it comes to classical genre (mainly orchrestra). They have two other Touhou albums besides this one, all arranged by yuki. Each of them revolving revolving around a certain game. One of them is based on EoSD and the other is based on SWR. Do yourself a favor and go get them if you haven't already. ~ Before I start ranting on some other things I'd like to rant about Alice. I haven't ranted about a character in a while so it might be interesting... First things first, Alice is one of my favorite Touhou characters and of this moment, my most favorite one. Oh how I simply adore puppeteer characters. I have to admire their artistic abilities. Making a good puppet, especially the way Alice does it, requires a large amount of skill. Her following old traditions is some that I also find admirable. I also like her personality in Bohemian Archive in Japanese Red (not completely sure why, I just do). Not to mention Alice's puppet-like clothes is just delicious. Her desire to create an independently moving doll is rather cliche among puppeteers, from what I've seen. Though, I completely get the reason behind it all. I'll keep the talk about imagery short and sweet. I cut a corner or two (I'm sorry Alice...) so I may redo it when, though it'll have to be during summer if I do (too lazy to explain). I tried to portray Alice falling asleep and ending up in her wonderland. In the end her dolls get worried about her and try to wake her up, though that bit doesn't exactly fit in with the song. In a wonderland, Yukari is absolutely powerless because there are no boundaries. There is no right or wrong, you cannot be judged. Nothing is set in stone, you can look however you want and you can be wherever you want. A utopia, at least the closest we'll ever get to one. Probably a familiar saying, nobody is able to drive you away from your wonderland. A wonderland can last for eternity. Though, it's not good to stay in it forever. You have to come out sometime, there are people worried about you, people that love you. When life's not fair, you can always escape to wonderland. For now, sleep tight and enjoy your wonderland Alice~ |
