Besides the blatant irony which just adds to the mood, the composition to this song is absolutely mesmerizing. The bassline is just pure fucking bliss, it's like hitting a brick wall over and over again, soo good. It marks a steady beat as an onkicking melody starts progressing until the climax of the song around the middle, in which the arrange is easily recognizable and morphs into a more techno-ish vibe, and then dies off again into the beat again. I'm kinda holding my colour really tight here, I'm seriously awed. Patchouli's always been one of my 3 favorite characters, and out of the SDM crew, it definitely wins the podium. Her design is unfathomably stunning, it's really flaky but gorgeous at the same time. Mix my love for bookworms in and we've got a whole lot going on here. Her theme is so versatile, too! You'd be thrown off by a hardcore 3rd eye remix, and while Locked Girl is a similar vibed song, it works so well into these shores, it's really amazing. |
