As I found myself amidst the making of this particular video, I sorta reminisced some moments during the C76 frenzy. Quenching hard for new crunchy stuff like a heavynut back then, I had ridiculously high hopes for this one! It so happens that ShotShell II was something nothing short of bewildering and astounding (from which you will surely see in the future), so I was sorta shaking my way to the grave at the time.

Unfortunately, it wasn't as powerful as I thought it would be, and neither did the track selection amaze me to a notable extent.
Until I skimmed through Voyage 1969.

I'm making a theory here, Dark PHOENiX always branches out to a wide array of themes, but arguably their best stuff is Eientei's, specifically Voyage 1969, History of the Moon and Lunatic Princess. Come to look at it, this is probably ripe territory here for our synth shredding fowks to stand their ground, since Eientei is pretty ethereal and mystical sounding so it always ends up fitting. It nearly looks like Dark PHOENiX is playing a soundtrack to portray moon itself, it's pretty great.

I've been listening to this one ever since the delightful day of that August. Really now, what can I add to this. I'm a sucker for synth guitars and you should know it. There's just something ultra spicy lying in there somewhere, don't ask me.

I'm gonna take it upon myself to sort of convert you "real" guitar fans into Dark PHOENiX's here, you bet I'll try.
