Since the early Synthesis albums I've been trying to keep up with this Bizen and wait warmly to see where he'd go. Not only has he proved to be fairly consistent but he's always kept the standards pretty high. As such I am compelled with great joys and swelling excitement when any of his releases pump out.

Much in the same fashion of Fuyu Matsuri, Touhou UnderGround retrieves the uncanny pleasant electronic experience employed by DDBY as a circle. As we flow from track to track, you're washed away in an uni directional stream that'll keep you hooked until it's over. Touhou UnderGround is more than mere "blend a bunch of artists" and portrays a very commendable display of synergy between all the artists (which includes names like haLRu, nanasy, Jing da Law to sum up a mighty cast). The outcome is nothing short of a soothing and relaxing trip through trance, house, intelligent DnB, drumfunk, liquidfunk, lounge, ambient jungle, dark atmospheric Dnb, soulful DnB and lots of stuff inbetween.

If I had to pick out an album from this M3 so far, Bizen and his talented featured cast would definitely fetch the spot.
Definitely a must-rub-all-over-my-face release for fans of the chill electronic genre and a worthwhile listen for everyone else, regardless of their stance on Touhou.
