Oh, how fragile and short life is.

Cherry blossoms (or sakura, whichever you prefer) have short blooming periods. Because of such, it has been used to represent how short life is.

I take a particular interest when it comes to a cappellas (if you don't count the 3 notes in the beginning), though none that I've heard have sounded the way I'd hope to hear one. This probably comes to the closest (I haven't heard many), but I find it far from perfect. This certainly has potential to make one shed tears and be in awe, but it's not quite there yet. It ends up being more calm (course, they could have been aiming for such). Personal preference wants me to have female voices incorporated into this for more... erm... balance (not sure if that's the word I'm looking for).

Assuming my knowledge of choirs is correct, the three notes at the beginning are used for the first three notes that they sing. Considering that it's there makes me believe that it was a live recording, rather than singing bits and then editing all the bits into one final product (or the other ways people do it).

I hope that I'll hear an breathtakingly tear-jerking a cappella someday.

I wanted to say something about I felt about the human voice, but, me being me, I couldn't find the right words for it.

25/11/2014 - Changed the Arranger to 蓬屋ふらん from ○○ and added the Circle tag to be 幻想郷グリークラブ. This, from my understanding, wasn't uploaded as part of the circle. However, since the songs, from what I can tell, are the same (minus the piano bit) I decided it was appropriate to make this change. The album that "this" appeared in was 月雪花 ~ 男声合唱とピアノによる, which was released at Comiket 82 in 2012.
