"Dear Santa, I ask nothing from you for this Christmas, except that I want Demetori to come back to kick serious ass. And I want the ass-kicking to be good."

I'm sure everyone has been asking Santa Claus for the past two years following Demetori's absence, and I'm sure everybody is pumping their fist in approval when they're back on the grid with epic ass-kicking material (me included). As among a few people (as far as I know) who has gotten their latest album, BEGIERDE DES ZAUBERER, I literally had to calm down as soon as the first track started playing inside my headphones. Tokunan, Kyuuhoji, you deliver epic to thousands of your fans out there, and you never fail to amaze us.

Right, back on business. There's a reason I choose this track as Recollection's pick: ever since Shout At The Devil, I've been asking myself "when will Demetori do an arrangement for Flandre's theme"? Let's see now, we've been treated with their delicious rendering (lol) of Heian Alien, Nuclear Fusion, Cosmic Mind, Necrofantasia, Doll Judgment and Septette For The Dead Princess (to name a few) so it would be kind of unfair if they didn't do the more powerful (and obviously popular, if not "overratedcoughoverrated") themes, right?

Here, Tokunan and Kyuuhoji prove that they can do it and still kick serious ass.

I have to admit that I'm not exactly a heavy metal/hard rock person (being a jazz devotee I am) so I cannot say for sure if Demetori has used samples/riffs/whatever from other bands and implement them in this album, but this is Demetori, so I guess my argument is moot. Still wishing they'd arrange more PC-98 arranges (or include True Administrator in this album) though...

Alright, I guess words are useless to describe the epicness of Demetori's comeback, so enough talk! Have at you!
