I know that UI-70 is not in every ones cup, to my suprise I have seen many people that say they just don't like the style of this circle. However, for those who enjoy their work, do you remember what was the old UI-70 sounded like? Well, like if the past album wans't proof enough, UI-70 delivers another incredible album featuring that good old sound we have been demanding from this circle for quite a long time. For those who are fond to Imperishable Night music, it should be noted that this album is an arrange of mostly all the music from this game. It features both new tracks and re-arranges from some demos they did in the past, with excellent quality both on the mix and the EQ. The guitars are more crunchy than ever, and every riff will send you to heaven. "Old World", "Kagome Kagome", "Lunatic Princess" and "History of the Moon" is only half of this great album I'm sure you will enjoy. It's nice to see UI-70 recovering the track of what they were before they started experimenting with so many things. In my opinion, some circles like "South of Heaven" should take this as an example and return to their roots. I mean, it's fine if IKUTO want to be now a rhythm guitarist of a vocal band. After all, if that makes him happy, who are we to judge him? But I kinda miss that feeling on his albums. Anyway, let's not cry for what currently has no solution, and cheer up for the wonderful rebirth UI-70 is experimenting. Change always bring something different, otherwise it wouldn't be a change at all. But how many is too much? Change is good, you can never expect things to be static. However, in my opinion, one has to change, without forgetting their roots, or the motive of this change. Thanks for watching. |
