When I heard this I was pretty sure I had heard some parts of this before in a Touhou arrange, but I'm not sure which. It has a very meaningful name since the last boss of the game is the protagonist herself. Anyway, there's no one better than ZUN to talk about the original track: "The ending theme. Sadness ~ hope ~ courage ~ and then, again, sadness ... ... is how it came out, but it was a lot of work. There's so much going on with so many styles in just a minute and a half that it may be hard to keep track of. The intro is like something from an eroge (wrong!) The main melody helps lift up your spirits (somehow) The main melody is like the cavalry coming in (wrong again) And the end is based on the ticking of a clock (really) I worked so much on it, but it's so short~ (^^; " And with this upload the first album is done for me. |
