Seeing how much of a fan of them Myon was, they certainly are not newcomers to the Lyrica playlist, rather, quite the encore act. Even more of a return customer on my own playlist, this channel has gotten quite fat from their work. Take a look at my last.fm on any given week and you'll see what I mean. Over the course of a few years, Dark Psyche and Hiru have produced a plethora of tracks, albums and genres ranging from standardish techno/jungle/house to the more hardcore. However, my favorite clump of music from these guys comes from the middle band of albums featuring 'Full Materials 3.0' through 'Resonance Days'. You could argue that Psychedlic/Goa Trance is among my favorite genres. There's nothing quite like kicking back and relaxing your mind, letting the music take you where it wants to. Couple that with some *censored* and some *censored*, and you're always in for a great experience. Presently, I was torn between either an Onigashima or a Border of Life arrange. It didn't take a lot of convincing to figure out which would be the obvious choice. Suika can and will always need some extra lovin'. Constantly shadowed and forgotten, the poor oni isn't ever really included in the typical touhou shmup lineup, which is upsetting. She really does have some of the best arranges that ZUN has composed to date, if you ask me. Mohican Sandbag loves to take huge liberties with their arranges, something I've also been a big fan of. While sometimes the theme may be hard to recognize in some areas in a lot of their work, the music does not suffer from it; rather, it is strengthened. Originality is always going to earn bonus bucks in my eyes and ears. Thanks for tripp.. I mean watching with me. |
