Description[Title] - Blue Rain in Kyoto
[Author/Circle] - Swing Holic Band / SWING HOLIC
[Album] - Vol.05
[Event/Date] - Reitasai 7 (Mar 14, 2010)
[Original] - Retrospective Kyoto ~ Photo Theme 4
[Game] - Touhou 09.5: Shoot the Bullet

Aaah, as soon as I peeked into vol.05' tracklist weeks ago I was waiting for this one with great expectation, for it is tagged with the bossa nova genre.
The touhou music scene clearly is lacking on these arranges. Let alone bossa nova arranges without vocals, those are pretty seldom. I think there are only two anyways, Graveyard on Bossa and now this one. It's such a warming addition.

I love it how it just jumps you onto Renko and Maribel's life. It's like you're watching the kaleido-screen for their necromancing rhapsody, the incident in the graveyard, Mary's trip to the SDM and the train ride, the images from the other world go by in this celestial palette.

I am... virtually speechless at this. The day's just bounced off and I'm put at this dangerous ease. It's a fuzzy and uplifting track like none I've ever listened recently.

The Swing Holic prodigies at work.

Thanks for listening!
