Caution! Mindmelt warning!

Anyway, I'm glad to present to you the debut album of an arranger we have never featured before.
Kurogane Lab is the circle of an arranger that has been featured before on the NEUTRAL circle, but never released a full album by himslef until now. Allow me to introduce Hayana, the artist of the song and the album you are listening now.

I came to know the existence of this because a few artist were commenting about it on their respective blogs. Wether it was a recommendation or a critic, I don't know, but the truth was that it's one of those albums you can't miss. Hayana takes us to the same dark alley that BLANFIELD (see video #264), except I found Hanaya work to be more eloquent, and more rich in it's sound. The agressive sound of the guitars is perhaps, being loud, full of anger, but without loosing perspective of what its being done. The keyboard work it's pretty amazing I must accept, and makes the prefect compliment to the whole song.

The album it's quite itself a jewel, since it's an all instrumental trash/dead heavy metal. For some reason, I can't stand the growling vocals of dead when it comes to this type of genres, but BLANKFIELD and now Kurogane Lab have given me proof that I can enjoy the instrumental work as any other, or even enjoy it more than other genres. Sadly, I can foresee that Kurogane Lab isn't aiming to be an instrumental circle in all their releases, and now vocals on touhou metal aren't that rare anymore. Take for instance South of Heaven, where IKUTO and CASTER has been doing nothing more than adding vocals to their music, and sadly that has killed my hope for the circle.

But anyway, some of Hanaya's favorite bands and influences are: Galneryus、Dir En Grey, Nightwish and Angra. Guess that explains why Hanaya work is a little less aggressive than BLANKFIELD, but still retaining the roots and definition of their genre. Apparently this song was recorded using an Ibanez RG350EX and an Ibanez RG8320, and his favorite animals are cats.

So there you have it. We welcome Hanaya with our hats downs, since this is one of the best Satori Themes it has been ever done, and I consider the ending of this song almost perfect. I recommend you get this album by any means, since wether you are fan of loud heavy metal like this, I'm sure you will find it hypnotic, such as this song that you will replay over and over and over again.

Thanks for watching.
