Original: 風神少女 (Wind God Girl)

I was listening to this song, and I figured that as far as orchestral Touhou goes, if you haven't heard this, your life is incomplete, thus it's one of those "must listen" of Touhou orchestral/classical and consequentially, a must have for Merlin.

I'm not kidding in the video title when I say "dramatic", I mean "effing" dramatic. Nazz-can is one of those arranger who likes to go "all out" when he's arranging a song, be it metal or orchestral, take that Remilia arrange (666), I'm not fooling around when I say that it's one of the most epic things I heard. Nazz-can always arranges his orchestras as if it where the end of the world. Another trait that differentiates him from other orchestra Touhou arrangers, like Morrigan, taste or Aojiru. And a trait this guy and Papos have in common.
This song is no exception. As always, nazz-can does not hold back with his volume either, the intro will make your ears bleed if you have your volume set at max.
After the energetic intro the song "settles down" at 1:20 and the orchestra plays the ever popular main tune of Aya's theme. The moment of rest quickly starts to subside at 2:20 and it starts picking up again with those dramatic trumpets. Finally at 3:25 everything starts to come back, like it was in the beginning. And so goes on, analyze it yourself if you want to.

The best part? It's all synth and some keyboards probably. LOL ;__;

God knows what nazz-can is up to right now (I've seen some stuff of his in some other businesses), but, here's to hoping he'll make a grand return to the Touhou business.

Somehow though I think the arrange goes totally against the original Wind God Girl, I don't really think Wind God Girl is such an epic song, it's more... jazz then anything else I'd say, of the Latin kind probably. Recently I've been listening to some arranges here and there and got hooked to this rearrangement by ZUN from Bohemian Archive in Japanese Red. It has one of ZUN's super MIDI piano solos.

Talking about dramatic songs, the previous upload was pretty dramatic too. Since the drama this song boosts is so extreme I challenge somebody to write a story on it, make it tragic.

Thanks for watching!
