"With the power of the sun
In the center of the Earth
The goddess of the gun
Is going to find her birth

With her faith on science
We will sight the nuclear fusion
Everybody please remain in silence
We are about to see the conclusion

The fallen angel of pain
The crow of hell is her name
Utsuho Reiuji came
And lead the world to its tame"

PEATH2, sole member of ELECTRIC RED circle has been a suprise I have been saving for a moment like this.
Trying to avoid all the puns, PEATH2 came as a surprise to me (KakashiMr showed me who he was), that such good Touhou arranger was lurking in the dark without being famous in our own little world. Considering death metal/metalcore has been always a little portion of Touhou Metal, PEATH2 comes in the same field of BLANKFILED and the now recently featured Hanaya from Kurogane Lab (listen to #267 if you haven't done so).

However I have been struggling a bit founding any more information about him/her, since the site it's a bit modest, and the blog doesn't say the usual "About" tab where you can take a peak of what the artist you are listening enjoys. Only a few things I can pull out, such that PEATH2 likes Messugah and Nevermore. It's actually on pourpouse I mention this 2 bands, since I have similar feelings towards them. While looking to satisfy my "Extreme Metal" needs (yeah, every once in a while I have those) many people recommended me Messugah. I can't deny the fact that Messugah it's a great band, and it could be on top of my favorites....if it wasn't for the vocals. There is so many good music out there that I feel it's kinda ruined when they start screaming against the microphone. While Nevermore it's very different from Messugah, I can't deny that although the vocalist is more the "passive aggressive" kind of guy, I still feel it ruins a bit the music. Luckily enough, Jeff Loomis does every now and then instrumental work, and I have to accept Jeff Loomis is one of my favorite guitarists.

Perhaps PEATH2 feels the same, all of his works (2 albums so far) are pure instrumental black/death metal awesomeness, but with enough melody work to vary from time to time. For me, PEATH2 is above warinside from BLANKFIELD. Perhaps its their different influences, but I'm more fond to PEATH2 kind of music. Yes, it's death metal, its extreme and full of "apocalyptic zombie" kind of vibe, but by some reason it feels more "alive" the music by him than the works by BLANFIELD.

Well, his music its pretty much "dead", in the scence of invoking the darkest spirits of hell, but "alive" in the scence of reaching emotions to your heart. I wonder.....does that makes his music..."un-dead"?
Great work from PEATH2, and as long as there are no vocals, he will be under the sight of this channel.

Thanks for watching.
