DescriptionTitle: 東の国の眠らない夜
Artist: taste
Circle: ゆめいろ企画 (Yumeiro-Project)
Album: Blue Vault of Heaven
Original: 東の国の眠らない夜 (Sleepless Night of the Eastern Country)

Shoot the Bullet and Shameimaru, I'll admit that neither of them are my favorites, while StB does have a slightly interesting new twist to the Touhou gameplay, having to take "pictures" of bosses, for Aya's "Daily Bugle" (Bunbunmaru), I still don't find it very amazing or good.

Buuuut! There's always the music, that saves the game! I was listening to the OST, and most of the tracks are good, the best example being Sleepless Night here; but there are other good tracks, like Black Eyes, Retrospective Kyoto and Wind Tour, which I upload a few videos ago (Beethoven ripoff).

Anyways, that aside, taste always likes to give his arranges that "extra magic" that makes them distinguishable, and that's why I love this guy. He has a big march influence, he likes to use drum beats reminiscent of marches, and not only that he likes to add interesting spinoffs to his arranges, for example, trumpets, very amazing piano solo's and, like in this case, an amazing harpsichord solo (very progressive).
Like most Touhou arranges he uses synthetic instruments, MIDI in other words, but, that doesn't hinder his arranges at all, in fact it's not easy to really tell if he uses midi or not. A very unique artist indeed.

The only problem, is that the guy is trapped by his circle, Yumeiro Project, which, if we are lucky, decide to sneak a song of his in their releases, and it really stands out, since the rest kinda sucks.

Lastly, I uploaded this to let the Aya fans celebrate the new ZUN game, StB 2.

Aya fans, rejoice.

Thanks for watching!
