A little unusual but given her name and all I think it works out pretty well. "fraught with sin" it literally says -- "my gaze that drags along with it sin -- surely it will lead you to happiness" It's a very roundabout way to say, "though I cannot rid myself of my sin, at the very least, I want to shine a path for you to be happy."
