It goes without saying that I'm not staying by any order shenanigans in this Original CD marathon and am just kicking stuff up at a whim. Hey hey, I'm just trying to counter measure all the genres here, most material pertaining to the recent Original CDs I have is more of electronic vibes so I've got to separate the waters here.
Incidentally, calling them recent here is skewing the concept a bit too much. I wonder when and if ZUN is coming with another one of these. I haven't heard of anything for Reitasai 7, but maybe next Comiket? Wishful thinking here.

Either ways, this was a pleasant surprise. I never realized Iron had arranged my favorite CoSD track until just very recently, it's pretty dandy. Someone will disagree, but I think it's a good rendition. Yes, moreso than a good Iron Attack track, it's a great rendition of the theme, because by Iron standards, this might be a little outdated. Still, you can't help but bounce around when that solo at around 1:43 kicks in, delicious Iron was and will always be the shredding monster he is.

"I ran for dear life, even in a dream.
I cannot explain it clearly, but the laughter that I heard obviously sounded like something that wasn't human.
I trusted my instincts saying "Run for it!""

It's as if the fretboard is Maribel's wonderland and the red-eyed creature that is chasing her is Iron, which is somewhat funny to notice.

In all seriousness, I think it portrays the hasty and tense atmosphere in Mary's leap through the gap, and is rightfully another great track in Iron's repertoire.

Thanks for listening!... (I always forget to add the nice remark here *shrugs*)

By the way, the quoting there is not under Boys and Girls' txt log, but it follows shortly after in Retribution for Eternal Night. I just thought it sort of appropriate here.
