Upon translating the guy's name into "English", more like Romaji but whatever, with the result "papos", I came to the conclusion that it was the same guy. Of course, I'm not basing this on my intuition (and luck) alone, I actually asked him and got a favorable answer along with a "Thank you!". I love these friendly artists, Jill should learn from them. While I consider his Cosmic Mind and Fires of Hokkai arrangement to be otherworldly and one of the most amazing orchestra arranges of touhou songs I've heard in quite a while (since Morrigan), these other 2 songs should not go without merit. Like someone commented on the other upload, this guy, like Morrigan, manages to really "pull out" another side of a song that is totally unknown to us, his arranges are extremely unique, with spinoffs that the originals where devoid of (in this aspect he's better than Morrigan), giving a totally different feeling the originals have, but at the same time reinforcing those very feelings that the originals are supposed to transmit (I mean just look what he managed to do with Fires of Hokkai, now THAT is a pre-last battle song, he totally said "fuck the original" and arranged it in such a way that the original IS there but at the same time isn't). If you look through the guy's videos you'll see that he is a very big fan of some great classical artists (Chopin for instance) which is what I think he tried to transmit with that arrange of Shou's stage theme. Yes, yes, we can all hear the obvious Beethoven dedication in the intro and in the grand finale, and to top it all off, perfectly executed. Do you guys remember the Trinity Orchestra album? Sincerely I found that album good, but not that amazing as I thought it would be, sincerely I was expecting something like this, this Sealed Cloud Route arrange is grand, although I'm not a huge fan of the original in this case I can safely say that this arrange just made me automatically love it (like the perfectly timed pause at 3:14) although I think the guy could have added a little extra touch of magic to it, but I'm not complaining, since he really went all out on Cosmic Mind. What I am complaining about is those plastic/synth guitars he added in the Esoteria arrange. I love that song, but I think he could have done it better, much better. Although I love the drumming. And 6:49 is like omfg. The first image is supposed to be Byakuren's flying temple. Btw, this year is the year of tiger in Chinese calendars, which explains a lot of the Shou images popping up lately.
