No, it's not a music CD album, though I wish it was, but rather a new game called Touhou 12.8 : 妖精大戦争 ～ 東方三月精 (The Great Fairy Wars ~ Touhou Three Fairies) [TGFW ~ TTF] As you may have guessed it from this upload, or if you still haven't, the three mischievous fairies (Sunny Milk, Luna Child, and Star Sapphire) will be making an in-game appearance. Though however, the playable character in this game is none other than Cirno. Now before you start throwing those tomatoes, hear me first. One might ask what does Cirno have to do with this, or why was she selected to be a playable? From what I gathered, First of all, ZUN stated that he already made plans to put out this particular game since the second volume of Strange and Bright Nature Deity, but was unable to do so due to his tight schedule. So yes, it is possible that he had made this game beforehand and started working on it slowly. Well that's just my guess anyhow. As regards to Cirno, she was presented in the Strange and Bright Nature Deity manga/comic (those who have read the latest Gaku update in Gensokyo.org may know about this already, though in all of honesty I've only started reading it shortly after hearing about the release of this particular game. Which means reading the whole series in a single sitting, oui...) and have had relations with the three musketee- mischievous fairies, Sunny Milk, Luna Child, and Star Sapphire. Due to a certain event in the particular series, they met Cirno outside of their homestead, playing hide-and-seek with her all time companion, Daiyousei. However, the weather wasn't all too friendly, rather treacherous if I might add. Out of good will, they "saved" Cirno and brought her into their domain, with Cirno all being confused and shocked. And that was how they met each other. Quoting from Touhou wiki, "They make fast friends with Cirno, who calls them "Comrades." Cirno is amazed with their hide and seek ability, while they are amazed at Cirno's power with ice." "Cirno declares war on the Three Fairies" The particular quote above was taken from ZUN's blog (translated by the people from ShrineMaiden ofc, you can head down there to read the full quote). The reason for Cirno to be declaring war against them in unknown to me. I'm just going to take a wild guess and say there are some misunderstandings between Cirno and the three mischievous fairies. yeah.. The artwork of this particular game was not drawn by ZUN, but rather by Hirasaka Makoto who is the current artist for the three fairies comics. So yeah...
