[Original] - The Fantastic Legend of Tohno ~ Stage 2 Theme
[Game] - Touhou 07: Perfect Cherry Blossom

Oddly or not, most PCB stage themes ring a pleasant sound to my ears, I could hug them all. Namely Capital City of Flowers in the Sky, Ultimate Truth and here, Fantastic Legend of Tohno, they're all definitely amidst my favorite themes in the whole series. Incidentally, PCB is a prime example from my perspective of what it's like for a Touhou character's theme to be submitted by her stage tune... which is very peculiar in many games, but is not at all in Touhou. I think we can all agree that each time ZUN makes a song, chalk off one or two, he makes a full fledged work, even the frickin' menus and staff rolls and all the shizzle, every little ditty matters.

Little derailing here, as I was typing that little chunk there, it crossed my mind of how neat would be to actually exist a Touhou sorter like the one floating around for some time, but a theme-only version. Of 'course, CDs and others would be also included, maybe even Seihou. That would be pretty hot.

I'm not sure. I think ZUN was aiming for a beautiful scenario here more than anything. I can picture a beautiful landscape and clean skies, the sheer cheesy archetype of a calm environment. When you delve into it, it fits like a glove. Don't forget Mayohiga is under the influence of the boundary, and people go a little weird in the head when they approach it. To be depicted into a gorgeous and stunning scenario by your senses is only what follows. Even the background of the stage is really emblematic on its own. You wander in a road amidst the trees... I think we can all agree the stage itself is very ethereal.

So I thought it would only be fitting to bring this one up. Again, Swing Holic, even when you less expect then, mwaha. I love this album so hard, it's almost paffoonery. It's really good stuff (did I mention?).

I just kinda dread the engrish in A~YA's depictions, which if you ask me, does not even slams much of an impact on me since I am not native english and it doesn't bother me too much, but one would only guess for you brits and americans. Cut the girl some slack though, she's churned out one of the most beautiful Legend of Tohno vocals I've come about. As if I'm some vocal guru of sorts, though... But yeah, you get the point.

There's a little extra Ran in there, I hope you don't mind... The picture makes me fuzzy and peaceful inside... There can't be anything wrong with that ;___;

Thanks for watching.
